Enactus UBC

Enactus UBC

Across the 79 Enactus chapters across Canada, the organization’s purpose has always been the same: to make long-term improvements in the community through entrepreneurial action. We believe that by channeling each person’s unique talents, passions, and ideas, we can collaborate to leave an even greater impact. Our club is committed to making a difference through our projects while constantly searching for innovative solutions to social and environmental issues that can then be developed into projects.

Ennovate One of our five projects that delivers business workshops to high school students taught by university student mentors, with the students ultimately creating their own mini-social enterprise within a 6 month program length

Impel A pro-bono consulting initiative that works with non-profits and social enterprises to create measurable change in their local communities.

Seeder Focused on tackling the issues of food waste diversion and food insecurity on campus and off, Seeder collects unused food from food outlets which is then repurposed into nutritional meals and distributed on a pay-what-you-can basis.

Patch Through upcycling second hand clothing into various items such as tote bags sold to students and blankets donated to the less fortunate, the Patch project aims to divert textile waste.
